Residence of the Bishop
of Mallorca, it is Gothic in style. The Museum displays some of the treasures
of the Mallorcan Church. It is divided into seven sections - religious
sculpture, archaeology, modern ceramics, the Séguier legacy, religious
art and numismatics, Gothic painting and a bibliographical collection.

SANT DOMINGO CONVENT
Pollença (Majorca)
Very attractive building
dating from the XVI century, it is nowadays the setting of many cultural
activities such as the Pollença Music Festival. Located in the same
building, the Pollença Museum houses a collection of contemporary
painting, the Atilio Boveri Collection, Gothic paintings, and exhibits
from prehistory.
VALLDEMOSSA CHARTERHOUSE

Palace of King Sancho, old
royal residence and the Charterhouse or Real Cartuja (XV century), with
its neo-classic church, the old pharmacy and the cells of the monks. The
composer Frederic Chopin and the writer George Sand spent a winter together
in cell number 4. You can see Chopin's piano, letters, portraits and other
memorabilia of his stay in Valldemossa.
The Contemporary Art Museum,
in the Charterhouse, has an exhibition of important works by Miró,
Picasso, Tàpies, Juli Ramis, etc.
