ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEM
(THE OLD UNIVERSIDAD)
The seat of the old self-governing
body, the Universidad, which was established in the 12th century but abolished
in the 18th on the arrival of Spanish troops. It has housed the City Archaeological
Museum since 1907.
STATUE OF ISIDOR MACABICH
Statue raised in honour
of the Ibizan historian of the same name. It has become a popular symbol
and the background to many visitors' photographs. |
